In this training, you will learn about the installation and startup for the Fujitsu “V-Series.” The purpose of this training is to provide the skills needed to get familiar with the V-Series products, understand the installation process and checking the system, as well as starting up the system for the first time. You will also learn about the installation and startup for the Fujitsu “J-Series” mini-VRF, variable refrigerant flow systems. The entire Airstage VRF equipment portfolio offers great value for home and business owners by providing a high level of comfort and energy savings when compared to traditional, “Unitary” HVAC systems.

FUJITSU NEXT TECH SYSTEM COMPONENTS & TROUBLESHOOTING (3-hours) of both indoor and outdoor components are discussed. Circuit boards, electronic expansion valves, compressor, 4-way reversing valve, thermistors, fan motors, active filter modules, inverter power module, diffuser drive motor and other components are identified and demystified. The training discusses various technical manuals and how to use them to troubleshoot systems. Step-by-step troubleshooting of these components will be highlighted. The training describes their roles in the everyday operation of the systems and the importance of their functions. It will highlight how to identify error codes and use technical documents in the field to properly diagnose these components.
FUJITSU NEXT TECH SERVICE (2-hours) shows attendees how to use Fujitsu Tech Support menu on our website. The training will discuss how to use Service Manuals, Service Instruction manuals, Design and Technical Manuals and Mobile Technician App for step-by-step diagnosis in the field. Training will demonstrate how to disassemble outdoor components and sub-assembly modules. It will show you how to identify electrical DC grounds for proper testing. You will be instructed on how to identify various field service issues. You will learn how to read error codes on indoor and outdoor units.
FUJITSU NEXT TECH INSTALLATION & FUNCTION SETTINGS (3-hours) module details the proper way to install indoor and outdoor units. It stresses the importance of reading and following the installation manuals and selecting the correct and most effective locations for optimal airflow and comfort. The training engages you with question and answer, hands-on labs and paper labs to work out installation situations you will encounter. Start up, check run and test run will be discussed in detail. The training explains how and when to use various function settings to properly setup a mini split system.
FUJITSU NEXT TECH SYSTEMS & APPLICATIONS (2-hours) is an interactive question and answer training for every contractor, technician, installer and salesperson. In-depth discussion on the available products and how to apply them to a specific type of installation. The training highlights the proper selection and application of the products and how they can solve customers’ comfort problems. It also discusses how to read and use capacity rating charts. The use of various types of controls is highlighted.
