DESCRIPTION:The Air Flow Basics Through Troubleshooting class will help installation\, sales\, and service technicians better understand what creates air movement\, what prevents it\, how to direct it\, and lastly\, how to identify and correct the cause of insufficient air flow. Technicians new to the profession will find air flow explained in a simplified manner. Seasoned techs will likely find new information and/or new methods of delivery to assist technicians entering the HVAC profession. \nThis class will cover: \n• Measurements vs design \n• Air filtration \n• Setting CFM \n• Troubleshooting \n• Zoning vs EMS/BAS \n• Duct sizing \n• Air balancing for the service tech \n• Fan Laws \nRegistration includes: Lunch \nWho Should Attend: PM Technicians\, Repair Technicians\, Install Technicians\, and Service Managers \nOur Instructor: John Nowicki has been in the HVAC industry since 1985 and has worked for leading contractors in the Southeastern PA region. His background includes residential through light industrial HVAC diagnostics and repairs. John also has experience as a residential service manager and in residential and light commercial installation. His current positions are Lead Technical Trainer\, Commercial Field Instructor\, Technical Advisor\, and Apprenticeship Manager. John often describes himself as passionate about excellence in the HVAC profession and helping others become the best they can be.
