DESCRIPTION:This program will feature hands-on training with recently installed units in the PPATEC Training Center! The extended four-day course is designed to teach the basics to technicians who have limited field experience with air conditioning and heatpumps with fossil fuel backup. \nPlease note: the EPA 608 Certification Prep & Test is a separate class on Friday. If you are interested in getting your certification\, you need to sign up for the EPA 608 Certification Prep & Test as well. \n\n\n\nThe course provides hands-on training in the following areas: \n• Refrigerant Handling \n• Proper Tool Use & Care \n• Preventative Maintenance \n• Low Voltage Wiring & Troubleshooting \n• Line Set Sizing \n• Checking Air Flow of Equipment & Duct System\n\n\n\n\nRegistration fees include: Lunch is provided each day \nOur Instructor: \nMike Elmer\, a PPATEC instructor\, has been in the HVAC and plumbing industry since 2002 and has worked for leading contractors in the South Central PA region.
