SUMMARY:PPA TEC Hands-On HVAC Installation Bootcamp (5 Day)
DESCRIPTION:This 5-day class is designed to teach the basics of installation for a gas furnace and a/c system.  During the class we will cover an installation process to help your technician become familiar with the tasks needed to be completed for a successful on-time installation\, while installing a gas furnace and a/c system in our installation lab. \nTopics included are: \n\n• Safe removal of existing equipment\n• Proper Tool Use & Care\n• High Voltage Electrical\n• Low Voltage Electrical\n• Gas lines\n• Venting\n• Condensate\n• Ductwork and Air Flow\n• Refrigerant Circuit for A/C and HP\n• Start-Up and Commissioning\n\nRegistration fees includes: Catered lunch \nTarget Audience: This 40-hour class is designed for individuals who have no or very limited field installation experience. \nOur Instructor: \nDoug Zerbe has been in the HVAC industry since 2003.  On the contractor side of the industry\, he has worked as an installer and service technician before he moved into installation and service management.  Doug also had the opportunity to work in technical support for an HVAC distributor and in sales for an HVAC manufacturer. \nHotel Accommodations \nPPATEC is pleased to partner with local hotels that are in close proximity to our primary training venues.
