DESCRIPTION:This class includes all the primary fundamentals of oil heat training for technicians in a three-day training program. Technicians who have experience servicing HVAC equipment\, but have limited background working on oil equipment\, are ideal candidates for this class. Class styles have covered technical theory in classroom settings of up to 75 technicians and engineers as well as practical hands-on training with hydronic and steam boilers with burners of various types of fuels. The latest class offerings are certified by NATE (North American Technician Excellence) for continuing education of HVAC\, plumbing and heating technicians and NORA (National Oilheat Research Alliance) for heating professional training certification. \nGerry designed and built a training laboratory with six live-fire boilers of up to 1mm BTUH capacity as well as a connected heating and cooling system for the training center and engineering laboratory.
