DESCRIPTION:This electrical HVAC training class was specifically developed for individuals who want to increase their knowledge of electricity and how it pertains to HVAC equipment. The program will include more time for hands-on training on live-fire equipment and electrical simulators. The class will cover Safety & Hazard Awareness\, What is Electricity\, Ohm’s Law\, Circuits & Components\, Conductors\, Transformers\, 24V Controls\, Thermostats\, Motors\, Motor side of compressors\, Motor ratings and name plate definitions\, Wiring diagrams\, Automated control systems for residential\, and Troubleshooting. \nThis intensive program is comprised of hands-on training in our state-of-the-art lab\, electrical simulator equipment\, and classroom activities and discussion. SUMMARY:PPA TEC NORA Bronze - Two Week Basic Oil Heat Program
DESCRIPTION:After 10 days of concentrated fundamental classroom theory\, coupled with practical laboratory work\, including hands-on experience on a variety of live-fire equipment\, you will acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. DESCRIPTION:This course was designed to help a new technician or office staff member understand what to do on a standard gas boiler maintenance. This class will focus on sequence of operation (how and when a boiler works) for both condensing and non-condensing boilers. SUMMARY:PPA TEC NORA Bronze Two Week Basic Oil Heat Program
DESCRIPTION:After 10 days of concentrated fundamental classroom theory\, coupled with practical laboratory work\, including hands-on experience on a variety of live-fire equipment\, you will acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. This training\, along with field experience\, will help build careers as installation and service technicians that will become an asset to you and your customers. \nThe final day of training is a test day. Standard test times range from 30 minutes – 3 hours depending on the individual student. In nearly all cases\, students start testing at 12:30 PM. \nBronze Certificate of Training will be awarded to each student who completes the course and passes the examination. The test is based on the NORA Oil Heat Technician’s Manual\, which is used for Silver Certification. \nRequirements: There are some study assignments required to be done by the students in the evening during the course.
