$625Introduction to the Propane Industry along with the Fundamentals of Propane, now part of PERC’s Safety Basics program has replaced CETP 1.0 Basic Principles and Practices which was a prerequisite to the more advanced CETP classes. This newly offered PERC Education Program (PEP) provides an “entry level” training course on the history of LP-Gas along with instruction on the properties and characteristics of propane, the theory of combustion and how propane is produced and transported.
Some of the other topics covered are:
- Codes and standards
- Measurements of Propane
- Odorization
- Protecting customers, employees and the environment
- Maintaining good customer relations, and much more.

Our Instructor: Eric Leskinen is a veteran of the industry. Eric has over 35 years of experience with career progression from field operations to corporate direction. He has designed, managed, and executed safety training and compliance programs for multi-state companies with up to 1,100 employees. As a true compliance and safety specialist, his background and skill set are invaluable to propane marketers.
