PPATEC: ACCA’s HVAC System Performance Diagnostics

Description
This course provides a practical approach that details the use of specific tools and supplies for maintenance, diagnosis, and repairs. Students will be introduced to concepts as they apply to calculating system airflow, measuring system performance, an introduction to psychrometrics, SEER 2, and an introduction to properly selecting registers and grilles.
Expectations and Goals
Class participants can expect to meet the essential entry-level skills and knowledge required of an HVAC technician. In addition, students will learn how to make a more accurate diagnosis of residential HVAC equipment. The course program will acclimate students to a combination of theory and practical HVAC application necessary to be a successful technician. ACCA’s technical training delivers proven best practices with industry-accepted techniques that reinforce the science of HVACR.
