PPA TEC Water Heater Basics

This class will go over the basics for installation, troubleshooting, and service for the water heaters in common use today. Including electric, natural gas or propane, and tankless models.   This class will cover installation requirements for all types of water heaters, including electrical connections, venting, and gas piping requirements.

The class will cover maintenance and service requirements for both tank and tankless type water heaters.   We will cover add on items for water heaters, including aftermarket safety devices.

Our Instructor: Doug Zerbe has been in the HVAC industry since 2003.  On the contractor side of the industry, he has worked as an installer and service technician before he moved into installation and service management.  Doug also had the opportunity to work in technical support for an HVAC distributor and in sales for an HVAC manufacturer.
